Arrest in Salihli for attack with kicks on both security guard and dog

The person who kicked a dog named 'Gece', the mascot of Salihli Municipality, and then attacked security personnel was arrested by the duty court on charges of 'simple injury'. The municipality said, 'We will defend the rights of both our beloved animals and our staff.'

In the Salihli district of Manisa, the suspect K.T., who attacked a dog named "Gece" and security guards trying to stop him in front of the municipal building, was arrested by the court and sent to prison.

The perpetrator of the ugly attack that occurred on the morning of June 21 in front of the Salihli Municipality service building faced justice. K.T. (49), who beat the dog named "Gece," adopted by the municipality, and the security personnel on duty, was arrested after being referred to the courthouse following police procedures.

THE STRUGGLE WAS CAPTURED ON CAMERA

The incident occurred at the entrance of the municipal building in the morning hours. According to information received, K.T., who arrived at the building, brutally kicked the dog named "Gece," under the municipality's protection, and then the security guards trying to intervene. The attacker, neutralized by the immediate intervention of the security guards, was handed over to the police teams who arrived at the scene upon notification.

MUNICIPALITY LAWYERS STEPPED IN

Following the incident, Salihli Municipality lawyers quickly took action and filed a complaint against the suspect. After his interrogation at the police station, K.T. was referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court for the crime of "simple assault" and sent to prison. It was learned that the injured security guards and "Gece" are in good condition.
