JACK COLLAPSED
The incident occurred during the afternoon at an auto body shop on Abdurrahman Pasha Street. Auto body mechanic Kadir U. raised a car with a jack for repair. However, while the mechanic was working under the vehicle, the jack suddenly collapsed, causing the multi-ton car to fall onto the unfortunate man.
NEIGHBORS MOBILIZED
Nearby shopkeepers and neighbors who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to the shop to intervene. Through the intense efforts of the citizens, Kadir U. was pulled out from under the car, and the situation was reported to medical teams.
TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL
Upon receiving the report, medical personnel arrived at the scene and, after providing first aid, transported the injured mechanic to Inebolu State Hospital. Following an examination where fractures were detected in his body, Kadir U. was referred to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital for further tests and treatment.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
