A group returning from a rally organized by the CHP in Maltepe carried out verbal and physical attacks on a branch of the famous coffee chain EspressoLab, which CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had called for a boycott against. In a statement regarding the incident, where chairs were flying in the air, the Istanbul Governor's Office announced that four individuals involved in the attack had been detained.
In the process that began with the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu and continued with his arrest, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel addressed the crowd gathered in Saraçhane, announcing a boycott list that included the famous coffee chain EspressoLab.

Following the boycott call, a notable development occurred today. A group returning from the "Freedom Rally for Our Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu" organized by the CHP in Maltepe verbally and physically attacked the EspressoLab branch located on Turgut Özal Boulevard.
4 PEOPLE DETAINED
According to a statement from the Istanbul Governorship regarding the incident, the group that initially verbally harassed EspressoLab and those present in the coffee chain's branch caused damage to the establishment by throwing chairs after the patrons responded. It was reported that E.T.S, A.İ, E.D., and Y.K., who carried out the attack, were detained by the police, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
