A 65-year-old man named Vural Gül, who went to the hospital in Antalya with complaints of chest pain, experienced cardiac arrest 10 times during the initial intervention at the hospital and 2 times in the ambulance while being transferred to Antalya City Hospital.

Vural Gül, who lives in the Manavgat district of Antalya, visited the team that brought him back to life by restarting his heart, which had stopped 12 times, with electroshocks in the emergency room.

Gül, who lives in Manavgat, applied to the Manavgat State Hospital Emergency Service on March 20 with complaints of chest pain. Although the initial tests were normal, his condition suddenly worsened, and he suffered a heart attack, causing his heart to stop. The emergency team intervened. During Gül's first intervention at the hospital, his heart stopped 10 times, and while he was being transferred to Antalya City Hospital in an ambulance, it stopped 2 more times. His heart was restarted by the expert team with electroshocks and medical intervention. After his treatment was completed in the intensive care unit of the hospital he was transferred to, Gül visited the Manavgat State Hospital Emergency Service after regaining his health. Gül offered chocolates to the staff on duty in the emergency room and the team that intervened in his case.

"THE RETURN TO LIFE OF A PATIENT WHOSE HEART STOPPED SO MANY TIMES IS INVALUABLE HAPPINESS FOR US"

Vural Gül, speaking to reporters, stated that he does not remember anything, saying, "I only heard voices saying, 'Uncle Vural, open your eyes.' May God bless them, they are very kind." Deputy Chief Physician and Chest Diseases Specialist Mehmet Ali Karlıdağ said, "The return to life of a patient whose heart stopped so many times and his coming to thank us is invaluable happiness for us. Thanks to our team's determination and the treatment process at Antalya City Hospital, the patient regained his health."

Ferdi Çavga, a healthcare worker who was part of the team that intervened with Gül, expressed that he will never forget the moments they intervened with the specialist doctor, himself, and nurse Tuğçe Boztaş. Çavga stated, "I have been a nurse for about 25 years and have intervened in many critical patients. However, applying electroshocks 12 times and the patient returning to life and visiting us is truly very rewarding."
