Attack on the CHP Mayor in Giresun

A relative of a patient attacked the CHP Provincial Chairman in Giresun and was taken into custody by the police. In the central district, a father who had his child circumcised had a dispute with General Surgery Specialist Opr. Dr. Gökhan Şenyürek for an unknown reason. As a result of the argument, the insults from the father A.A.K. turned into a physical attack. Dr. Şenyürek, who was attacked, informed the police about the situation.

DOCTOR TURNED OUT TO BE CHP PROVINCIAL CHAIRMAN

It was revealed that the attacked Opr. Dr. Gökhan Şenyürek is the CHP Provincial Chairman of Giresun. Following Dr. Şenyürek's complaint, the police took A.A.K. into custody.

REACTION FROM ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

Regarding the incident, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a statement on his social media account. In his statement, Özel said, "I wish a speedy recovery to our Provincial Chairman Dr. Gökhan Şenyürek, who was verbally and physically attacked by a relative of a patient, and I condemn the attack that took place."
