After the minimum wage is increased to 28,075 TL with a 27% raise starting from January 1, 2026, the amounts for maternity and military service debt, which are important for retirement, will also increase in the new year. Those who do not want to be affected by the increase need to make their debt payments by December 31.
After the minimum wage for 2026 was set at 28,075 TL, there will be an increase in the amounts used to complete missing premium days in the retirement process, such as maternity and military service debt. It has been stated that the borrowing amounts will increase by 27% starting from the new year, and those who want to benefit from the current amounts must make their payments by December 31.
MATERNITY DEBT WILL BE 352 TL PER DAY
The premium rate for maternity debt is calculated based on 32% of the gross minimum wage. Accordingly, with the increase, the lowest maternity debt will rise to 352 TL per day and 10,569 TL per month. The highest borrowing amount will be 2,642 TL per day.
MILITARY SERVICE DEBT MONTHLY AMOUNT 14,863 TL
It has been stated that the premium rate for military service debt will increase from 32% to 45% starting from the new year. This regulation means that military service debt will increase more than maternity debt. Accordingly, the daily amount for military service debt will be 495 TL, and the monthly amount will be 14,863 TL. The highest borrowing amount has been calculated as 3,715 TL per day.
For maternity debt, the calculation is made based on 720 days for one child, 1,440 days for two children, and 2,160 days for three children. According to the lowest amount, the payment for one child will be 253,440 TL, for two children 506,880 TL, and for three children 760,320 TL.
267,300 TL FOR 18 MONTHS OF MILITARY SERVICE
It has been noted that the premium days for 12 and 18 months of military service can be added, and in 2026, the lowest borrowing amount for 12 months of military service will be 178,200 TL, and for 18 months, it will be 267,300 TL.
