Manager Ayşe Barım, who was arrested on charges of directing the Gezi Park protests and sent to Silivri Prison, fell ill at Marmara Prison in Silivri.
Barım's lawyer, Deniz Ketenci, stated, "She fainted while talking to her brother. Ms. Ayşe is a severe heart patient. Open-heart surgery was planned. She has two aneurysms in her brain and is at risk of stroke," while it was reported that Barım was taken to the hospital.

Renowned actress Serenay Sarıkaya shared on her social media account, "Our fear has come true, and Ayşe has been taken to the hospital. I can't believe it. Please immediately release Ayşe Barım.
