Former Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım made a written statement regarding the allegations about himself and Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran. Yıldırım stated that the news in question does not reflect the truth and called on the public.
"THE NEWS IS COMPLETELY FALSE"
Aziz Yıldırım recalled that a news article on Odatv used the expressions "The Yıldırım camp called Saran: 'Step aside, let Şekip Mosturoğlu come...'" and said that this is untrue.
"IF I WERE TO MAKE A CALL, I WOULD DO IT OPENLY"
In his statement, Yıldırım emphasized that such a call was not made by him, saying, "If I were to make a call, I would do it openly to the public."
"NEITHER I NOR MY CLOSE ONES MADE SUCH A CALL"
Aziz Yıldırım stated that the allegations are completely fictional, expressing that neither he nor those close to him have made any call regarding the current president or management.
REQUEST TO THE PUBLIC
At the end of his statement, Yıldırım requested the public not to give credence to such news, saying, "I kindly ask the public not to pay attention to this and similar news that are completely fictional."
