In the first match of Group B of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, host nation Canada will host Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Edin Dzeko wears the jersey.

The Canada - Bosnia and Herzegovina match will start tonight at 10:00 PM. The match, to be played at Toronto Stadium, will be officiated by Argentine referee Facundo Tello. The game will be broadcast live and free-to-air on TRT 1.

Bosnian footballer Edin Dzeko, the 40-year-old former star of Fenerbahce, will start on the bench for the match against Canada. Bosnia and Herzegovina's starting eleven features Vasilj, Muharemovic, Kolasinac, Dedic, Katic, Tahirovic, Basic, Memic, Bajraktarevic, Lukic, and Demirovic.
TO COMPETE IN THE WORLD CUP FOR THE SECOND TIME IN HISTORY
Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in the World Cup for the second time in its history, following 2014. Having eliminated Italy on penalties in the playoff final, Bosnia and Herzegovina's squad includes Edin Dzeko as well as Amir Hadziahmetovic from Besiktas. In the 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team will experience the tournament excitement for the second time.
