British comedian Russell Brand is accused of sexually assaulting four women during the peak years of his career. Brand is set to appear in court on May 2nd.

FOUR DIFFERENT WOMEN HAVE MADE ALLEGATIONS
In an official statement by the Metropolitan Police of London, it was noted that Brand is facing a total of five charges due to incidents alleged to have occurred between 1999 and 2005, including one count of rape, one count of oral rape, one count of inappropriate assault, and two counts of sexual assault. It was emphasized that the allegations were made by four different women. Official charge documents have been sent to Russell Brand, who is currently believed to be in the United States. The famous figure is expected to appear in Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on May 2nd to give a statement.
DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
Brand, who did not remain silent regarding the serious allegations against him, defended himself in a statement made on the social media platform X, saying, "I have never raped anyone. I have never had a non-consensual relationship."
Starting his career as a radio host and television presenter, Brand gained an international profile through the films he starred in Hollywood, and he was also known for his sexually charged and provocative style in stand-up performances. Brand, who was once married to pop star Katy Perry, has also been widely discussed for his autobiographies detailing his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction.
