The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has decided not to pursue the complaint made by the current president of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, against the former president, Mehmet Büyükekşi. Hacıosmanoğlu had gone to the prosecutor's office because there was no signature of the then TFF President Büyükekşi in the board of directors' decision book regarding the financial report presented for the discharge vote.

The President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, had filed a criminal complaint against former president Mehmet Büyükekşi. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has made a decision regarding Hacıosmanoğlu's complaint.

DECISION OF NON-PROSECUTION

According to the news from Yağız Sabuncuoğlu of Sports Digitale; the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a 'non-prosecution' decision regarding former TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

The Turkish Football Federation discovered that the financial report prepared for the approval of accounts and activities for the period from June 2023 to May 31, 2024 did not contain the signature of the then-president Mehmet Büyükekşi in the board of directors' decision book. Following this situation, the current president İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu took action and filed a criminal complaint against Büyükekşi.
