The tragic toll during the holiday is increasing. In the 542 traffic accidents that occurred yesterday, 10 people lost their lives and 790 were injured. It has been reported that a total of 57 people have died and 6,533 have been injured in the first 6 days of the holiday.

Sharing general data regarding the holiday, Minister Yerlikaya stated, "Unfortunately, 57 of our citizens lost their lives in the first 6 days of the holiday (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). 6,533 of our citizens were injured."

600 THOUSAND VEHICLES CHECKED



Yerlikaya stated, "Throughout the holiday, our Police and Gendarmerie Traffic teams continue their inspections. On the 6th day of the holiday, Thursday, April 3, 2025, our traffic teams inspected 599,476 vehicles. Speed and radar operations were conducted on 22,892 vehicles, and other operations were carried out on 41,922 vehicles."
