Regarding the two missiles fired from Iran that landed in Turkey, Bahçeli stated, "We do not say goodbye to any threat." He warned, "As the military, political, and economic burden of the US-Israel partnership increases, the danger accumulating around us will become even more intense. We must be prepared for all kinds of scenarios."
The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, in his new statement regarding Iran, said, "We do not say goodbye to any threat. As the military, political, and economic burden of the US-Israel partnership increases, the danger accumulating around us will intensify even more. We must be prepared for all kinds of scenarios."
BAHÇELI'S WARNING ON IRAN
The Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, made statements during the iftar program organized with the participation of the Central Executive Board, Central Disciplinary Board, and Members of Parliament. Bahçeli devoted significant attention to the events occurring in Iran in his statements.
The main points from Bahçeli's statements are as follows:
As the pains of establishing a new global system to replace the decaying world order of the post-1945 era continue to grow, the newly emerging transitional period, which has turned into a massive whirlpool, is almost swallowing humanity's longings for peace and tranquility. The complications of this paralyzed, decayed, and abandoned tableau have enveloped geographies from A to Z.
"STRENGTHENING THE NATIONAL UNITY WE WANT TO ACHIEVE WITH A TERROR-FREE TURKEY"
In such twilight periods, when threats gain such size and audacity, we must strengthen our sense of solidarity even more and reinforce our national unity and brotherhood at the highest possible level. After all, this is primarily what we aim to achieve with the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey."
In the second quarter of the new century, I believe that the spirit of national revival that will build and revive a "Terror-Free Turkey" will sign many miracles. Turkey is rapidly shedding the burdens it carries. There is no adversary or aggressive force that can block the path of the awakening and rising giant or interrupt its historical march, nor is it possible for one to exist. The Turkish nation, with the momentum of a tremendous awakening, will make the new century the century of brotherhood and will lay the foundations of this century with peace and tranquility.
The goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey" is not a concession, but a solid fortification aimed at the Turkish and Turkey Century. The goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey" is not surrender, but a definitive assurance of the victorious and respectable will of the Turkish and Turkey Century. If we cannot wholeheartedly defend our unity, integrity, and brotherhood in the geography of Anatolia; if we drift apart due to trivial reasons, cheap calculations, simple and vulgar whims, and the pressures and suggestions of others, know that we will never be able to hold on to this land we have made our homeland.
The goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey" is a melting pot of integration and embrace, where the common history and culture of our brotherhood over the centuries merge with the ideals and excitements of the future. While our surroundings are boiling, we must carefully protect the pristine face of our country and nation. In the face of the upheaval of neighboring lands, just as Akif said, we will recognize and think about the thousands lying beneath without shrouds in the sacred homeland we tread upon. Because we are the sons of martyrs; we do not harm, it is a shame for our ancestors; we would not give up this heavenly homeland even if we were offered the world. We must think about both our present and our future. You see and follow the attacks targeting Iran. All the consequences of an unjust and base war are before us. It is easy to start a war, but it is difficult to end it. In a military operation, a multi-dimensional attack is always possible, but retreat can lead to very high costs. It is understood that the US and Israel are beginning to falter against Iran, and that disintegration is gaining momentum in their domestic public opinions. There is a devastating provocation underway regarding the regional nature of the war and its ethnic and sectarian identity.
In fact, it is no secret that dark plans are being made to pit Turkey against Iran, to clash Iran with the Gulf countries, thereby changing the course of the war. Strategic information is double-layered. On one hand, it requires understanding the external environment, and on the other hand, it requires accurately weighing the capacity at hand. While Turkey correctly interprets the developments, it is aware of its own capacity and is making strategic balancing and verification. We do not say goodbye to any threat, nor can we.
Moreover, we are not a fledgling state that will fall into the deep pit of Zionist-imperialist origins, nor will we fall into the trap of perception and intelligence games. As the military, political, and economic burden of the US-Israel partnership increases, especially as the categorical objections of domestic public opinions regarding the Iran war rise, the danger accumulating around us will intensify even more. We must be prepared for all kinds of scenarios.
We must accurately read the immoral schemes aimed at pushing Turkey into a bottomless pit and thwart those who dig this pit. As it appears, the calculations at home have not aligned with Iran for the US and Israel. Setting aside the disconnected and inconsistent statements, regional pressure and compression are on the verge of taking on a global nature. The bottlenecks in the Strait of Hormuz, the blockages in the Persian Gulf, and the serious disruptions and difficulties related to the transportation and logistics of oil and other energy resources indicate that the war will have multi-dimensional consequences. Mutual missile attacks, bombed schools, hospitals, and civilian and innocent people are shaking the global conscience. The biggest victims of the war are, of course, children.
Before it is too late, a ceasefire regime must be implemented. Hands should unite for the purpose of reconciliation instead of pulling triggers. Otherwise, Iran could turn into a new Afghanistan, a new Iraq, or even a new Vietnam for the US-Israel partnership.
The goal of the US to strike military and strategic infrastructures in Iran with the account of ensuring regime change through Zionist banditry contradicts itself, and the differences in views are becoming increasingly apparent. Our region, from Lebanon to Bahrain, from Qatar to the United Arab Emirates, from Kuwait to Iraq, and from Jordan to Oman, is like a powder keg, a time bomb ready to explode. Our only priority is peace and stability. This war must be ended immediately. The US-Israel must withdraw its hands from Iran. Weapons must fall silent through mutual dialogue and diplomacy, and politics must speak.
I warn everyone that the fire of violence, fueled by the possibility of any kind of hot developments, must be extinguished before it spreads to the global and regional arena. Otherwise, the world and humanity will pay a very heavy price. Our primary goal is the security of Turkey. We must follow the events happening at our doorstep moment by moment with the wise knowledge of our immense state and national intellect.
It should be a fundamental principle to approach intentions and ambitions that would risk our Turkey and our precious nation, that would target us, and that would even lead to conflicts with Iran and other regional countries with seriousness. However, everyone must also know very well that we will not tolerate any hostile treatment that is intentionally and directly imposed, regardless of who it is, and we will fiercely defend our sovereign rights and independence honor, and they should calculate accordingly.
In the heart of the city, there is a beautiful park where people come to relax and enjoy nature. The trees are tall and green, providing shade on sunny days. Children play on the grass, and couples stroll hand in hand. It is a peaceful place, perfect for reading a book or having a picnic.
