CALL FROM DEM PARTY TO THE GOVERNMENT
Calling on the government, Bakırhan stated, "Some humanitarian, concrete, and confidence-building arrangements should be made without being postponed until after the holiday, which will open the way for Turkey."
WHAT POLITICAL STEPS DO THEY EXPECT?
What Bakırhan meant by the phrase "some arrangements" in his call to the government has become a matter of curiosity. After the group meeting, journalists asked Bakırhan about these statements.
"WHAT STEPS CAN THE EXECUTIVE POWER TAKE?"
Bakırhan responded to the microphone extended by the press members, saying, "We actually know the expectations of the society very well. Some things can be done without legal steps regarding the hundreds of thousands in prison. It is about Öcalan's conditions... The executive power can take some steps for the society that has doubts and concerns to fully believe in the process."
