Xiaomi, one of the leading brands in the smartphone market, has updated its EOL list of devices that will no longer receive update support. According to the company's plan, software and security updates will gradually cease for 19 smartphones and tablets, including high-end models, throughout 2026.

Some models in the smartphone market have reached the end of the road. Xiaomi has updated its End of Life (EOL) list, which includes devices that will no longer receive software support. According to the announced schedule, throughout 2026, 19 smartphones and tablets, including high-end models, will gradually be removed from update support. After these dates, the relevant devices will face greater risks, especially in terms of security.

NO MORE NEW FEATURES AND SECURITY PATCHES

Being included in the EOL scope does not only mean that no new features will come. These devices will also not receive regular security patches released by Xiaomi and Google on the Android side. Experts state that phones that have lost update support have become more vulnerable to cyber attacks and malware, which could put personal data at risk.

The list shared by Xiaomi includes models such as the Xiaomi 12 series and Xiaomi Pad 6, as well as the Redmi Note 12 family and POCO F5 series. According to the schedule, software support will end at different dates throughout 2026; some models will stop receiving updates in March, while others will be completely removed from updates in the second half of the year.
