The Turkish Football Federation announced the list of technical officials identified as having placed bets as part of the betting investigation. Notably, the list includes Gökhan Ünal, the former top scorer of the Super League, and Taner Gülleri, who was the top scorer in the 1st League twice.
The Turkish Football Federation referred coaches and managers identified as having placed bets to the Professional Football Discipline Board. A total of 108 coaches who have served as technical directors in professional leagues over the last 5 years and 104 managers who were registered with the TFF and found to have placed bets during their active periods were referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM TFF
In a statement made by the TFF, the following expressions regarding the scope of the investigation were included:
"As part of the betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation, it has been decided to refer the following individuals, who have served as Technical Directors in Professional Leagues over the last 5 years and were found to have placed bets during their terms, to the PFDK with precautionary measures starting from January 7, 2026, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Discipline Regulations."

Two names listed in the referral list announced by the TFF stood out due to their past achievements:
- Gökhan Ünal: He had experienced being the top scorer in the Super League.
- Taner Gülleri: He had been the top scorer in the 1st League twice.
