Despite finishing the season at the top of the Regional Amateur League (BAL) Group 1 with 64 points, Bitlis Spor 1916, the representative of Bitlis, has been waiting for approximately 35 days for a decision from the Turkish Football Federation.

The postponement of the playoff process due to the disciplinary referral of the Kurtalan Spor-Şırnak Petrol Spor match played in the last week of the Regional Amateur League (BAL) Group 1 has prolonged the uncertainty.

BITLIS SPOR 1916'S EYES ON TFF

In Bitlis Spor 1916, which achieved a significant success by finishing the league as leader, players and technical staff stated that the failure to announce a decision despite the long time that has passed has negatively affected them both physically and psychologically.

Mustafa Özer, the head coach of the Eastern Anatolian team, said that they have not been able to play official matches for about 35 days since the end of the season, and that the uncertainty has reduced the motivation of the players. Reminding that they finished the league as leaders with 64 points, Özer said, "Not playing matches creates serious problems for the players both physically and mentally. We have players in our team who are preparing to go to military service, making plans abroad, and preparing for marriage. However, we still do not know what kind of decision will be made. This uncertainty has worn us all out a lot."

"WE WANT TO SEE THE WAY AHEAD"

Stating that they have started training again after the holiday, Özer said that he has encountered such a situation for the first time in his 45-year football career, and said, "The Champions League final was played, the leagues were completed, and the champions in other BAL groups were determined. However, no decision has been made regarding our group yet. Under normal circumstances, we would have played our final match on May 24 and completed the season. We now want to see the way ahead."

"WE WANT TO BECOME CHAMPIONS"

The experienced coach, who stated that they have also put their transfer work on hold, said that their primary goal is to keep the players physically and mentally ready. Emphasizing that the team has not given up on the championship goal despite all the difficulties, Özer stated that they feel the support of the people of Bitlis and the administrators behind them, and said, "Regardless of the conditions, we want to become champions this season. However, for this, the federation must first announce its decision."

"WE HAVEN'T PLAYED A MATCH FOR 35 DAYS"

Tolga Keskin, one of the Bitlis Spor 1916 players, said that the ongoing process affects not only their own team but also other teams in the group. Keskin, stating that the uncertainty causes problems both economically and morally, said, "We haven't played a match for 35 days. Among our teammates, there are those who have plans for engagements, weddings, and holidays. Some have made reservations in advance. This process has affected all our plans. We expect TFF to make a decision as soon as possible and for the uncertainty to end."

DECISION FROM TFF IS AWAITED

The Bitlis Spor 1916 community has turned its eyes to the decision to be made by the Turkish Football Federation and the Arbitration Board. The club management, technical staff, and players await the clarification of the process and the announcement of the playoff schedule as soon as possible.
