In Afyonkarahisar, Specialist Sergeant Hasan Samur, his wife Zehra Samur, and their 8-month-old baby Aybars Karan Samur lost their lives when their car crashed into barriers. The bodies were buried in tears in their hometown.
The specialized sergeant Hasan Samur (27), who lost his life when his car crashed into barriers in Afyonkarahisar, was laid to rest in Uşak, while his wife Zehra Samur (26) and their 8-month-old baby Aybars Karan Samur were sent off on their final journey in Kayseri.
THEY WERE RETURNING FROM A FAMILY VISIT
The accident occurred yesterday morning near the Balmahmut village of Sinanpaşa district in Afyonkarahisar. While returning home from a family visit in Uşak, the car with license plate 35 MSB 45, driven by specialized sergeant Hasan Samur, skidded after he lost control, crashed into roadside barriers, flipped over, and slid 50 meters.

Health workers dispatched to the scene upon notification determined that Hasan Samur and his wife Zehra Samur had lost their lives. The couple's lifeless bodies were removed from the vehicle by the teams and taken to the morgue of Sinanpaşa State Hospital. The couple's 8-month-old baby, Aybars Karan Samur, who was taken injured to Afyonkarahisar State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions.
THEY WERE SENT TO THEIR HOMETOWNS
The body of specialized sergeant Hasan Samur was sent to Uşak, while the bodies of his wife Zehra Samur and baby Aybars Karan were sent to their hometown of Kayseri. A funeral prayer was held for Zehra Samur and her baby at Dedeoğlu Mosque in Talas district. The funeral was attended by the family's relatives, Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, and gendarmerie personnel.

The mother and baby were laid to rest at Zincidere Cemetery following the funeral prayer.
The body of specialized sergeant Hasan Samur was sent off on his final journey with prayers in the Yeleğen town of Eşme district, Uşak, his hometown.
It was reported that Hasan Samur served as a specialized sergeant under the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Gendarmerie Command, while his wife Zehra Samur was a civil servant at Afyon Kocatepe University.
