The Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, which operates under the name SDF in Syria, has attacked villages located in the eastern countryside of Aleppo with mortars.
According to a report by Syria's official news agency SANA, based on the Ministry of Defense's Media and Communication Management, at 18:20 local time yesterday, the SDF targeted the villages of Tel Maaz, Alsa, and Kiyariye in the eastern countryside of Aleppo with mortars.
The report stated that the SDF bombed villages outside its control and that the Syrian army detected the organization also firing rockets at the village of Um Tine, which is under its own control.
The claims by media outlets affiliated with the PKK/YPG that the Syrian army struck the village of Um Tine were categorically denied in the report, stating, "The party targeting the village is the SDF itself."
The report used the expression, "All responsibility for the massacre committed in the village of Um Tine lies with the SDF, which carried out the attack."
