A dispute over parking between a shipyard worker and a truck driver at the Karasu Port in Sakarya escalated into a knife fight. The truck driver who was stabbed lost his life.
In the Karasu district of Sakarya, at the Karasu Port where Ro-ro services are operated, a ship employee stabbed and killed a truck driver during a dispute arising from parking inside the ship.
The incident occurred at the entrance of the ship named Lerzan K at the Karasu Port in Sakarya, where a dispute broke out between truck driver Ahmet Çubukçuoğlu and O.Ö., who was on duty on the ship, regarding the issue of parking the truck inside the ship.
BLOOD WAS SHED IN THE PARKING FIGHT
In the argument that turned into a fight, ship employee O.Ö., who was stabbed in the hand, stabbed truck driver Ahmet Çubukçuoğlu, seriously injuring him. Upon notification of the situation, health and police teams were dispatched to the area.
After the initial intervention at the scene, the truck driver was taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries despite all efforts. The suspect was taken into custody, and an investigation was initiated regarding the matter.
