In the investigation launched against Beykoz Municipality for "tampering with a tender," Deputy Mayor Fidan Gül was arrested by the peace criminal court.
The investigation initiated regarding the crimes of "manipulating a tender" and "establishing, being a member of, and assisting an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," in which 12 suspects, including Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler, were arrested by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is ongoing.
As part of the investigation, Beykoz Deputy Mayor Fidan Gül, who was detained yesterday, was transferred to Beykoz Courthouse after completing his procedures at the Financial Crimes Unit of the Istanbul Police Department, following a health check. Gül was referred to the duty magistrate with a request for his arrest on the charge of "manipulating a tender" after giving his statement at the prosecutor's office.
The court decided to arrest Fidan Gül for the crime attributed to him.
