In the central Yüreğir district of Adana, a fight that started in a coffee house escalated into an armed conflict on the street, resulting in the deaths of 22-year-old Berdan Balsak and 25-year-old Tolgahan Akyüz. While one person is still receiving treatment, 9 individuals have been detained in connection with the incident.

The incident in Adana occurred late at night in the central Yüreğir district, Ulubatlı Hasan neighborhood. A dispute broke out between the coffeehouse operator and a customer for an unknown reason.

ARMED FIGHT IN THE STREET

According to the news from DHA, the argument escalated with the involvement of the parties' relatives, turning into an armed fight in the street. Tolgahan Akyüz (25), Berdan Balsak (22), and Bekir A. (25), who were shot with a gun during the fight, were injured in various parts of their bodies.

ONE PERSON DIED AT THE SCENE

Upon notification, police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Tolgahan Akyüz, who was intervened by the health teams, had lost his life. The injured Berdan Balsak and Bekir A. were taken to the hospital by ambulances.

ONE PERSON DIED IN THE HOSPITAL

Balsak, who was under treatment, could not be saved despite the doctors' efforts. The bodies of Tolgahan Akyüz and Berdan Balsak were sent to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy.

9 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

Police teams detained 9 suspects, including 2 individuals alleged to have fired a weapon during the fight. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
