ATTACK ON COURT IN IRAN: 6 DEAD, 22 INJURED

The toll from the bomb and armed attack on the Justice Palace in the city of Zahidan, located in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province, is increasing. In a statement made by the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, it was reported that the number of people who lost their lives in the attack has risen to 6, and the number of injured has reached 22. It was stated that among the deceased were a child, a 60-year-old woman, 3 soldiers on duty at the Justice Palace, and law enforcement personnel, while the identity of the sixth person has not been disclosed.

3 ATTACKERS NEUTRALIZED

It was reported that all the terrorists who carried out the attack have been neutralized. Ali Rıza Deliri, Deputy Chief of the Sistan and Baluchestan Security Organization, stated in a press release regarding the incident, "A terrorist team disguised as citizens attempted to enter the Justice Palace in Zahidan. Thanks to the attention of the police officer on duty at that moment, one of the attackers was neutralized. However, as this person threw a grenade into the building, some individuals, including a woman and a child, lost their lives," he said. Deliri also noted that during the ongoing conflict, two attackers attempting to escape were neutralized by security forces on a street near the Justice Palace, and that the three individuals who carried out the attack were killed.

"BALUCHISTAN WILL NO LONGER BE A SAFE PLACE FOR THEM"

In a statement made by Jaish ul-Adl, which claimed responsibility for the attack and is considered a terrorist organization by Iran, it was stated, "We warn all judges and judicial staff that Baluchistan will no longer be a safe place for them, and death will follow them like terrible shadows until revenge is taken."

The Sistan and Baluchestan province frequently witnesses clashes between armed groups, including militants and separatists who claim to be fighting for more rights and autonomy, and security forces. The Tehran administration accuses some groups of being connected to foreign powers and being involved in cross-border smuggling and rebellions.
