In the "Ahbap" investigation, allegations of a "sweet deal" arise... It is claimed that businessman Hüseyin Başaran, who filed a complaint against Haluk Levent, sold millions of dollars worth of real estate through the association at a price far above their value with a payment commitment, and after establishing debt pressure, rushed to the prosecutor's office to cover up the incident.
New details continue to emerge regarding Haluk Levent, who was detained within the scope of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Ahbap Association.
WHERE DOES HÜSEYİN BAŞARAN STAND IN THIS MATTER? According to a claim that will change the course of the investigation; Hüseyin Başaran, Chairman of the Board of Başaran Holding, who filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office against Haluk Levent and the Ahbap Association, was actually directly involved in this trade.
Hüseyin Başaran WHAT DO THOSE SALES MEAN? It was alleged that Başaran sold his properties to Haluk Levent on credit at a price far above their actual value, upon the promise that payment would be made through the Ahbap Association. It was claimed that Hüseyin Başaran, who pressured Haluk Levent to pay his debt, filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office to conceal his own cunning.
SEZGİN BARAN KORKMAZ: IF THEY DIG INTO BAŞARAN... As the echoes of the issue continue, fugitive businessman Sezgin Baran Korkmaz also joined the debate via his social media account. In his post, Korkmaz called on the judiciary to investigate Hüseyin Başaran, using the following statements: "If the prosecutor's office digs a little into Hüseyin Başaran, they will see public loss from tax fraud amounting to dozens of times the aid collected during the earthquake."
İSMAİL SAYMAZ: ISN'T THIS A VERY 'SWEET' DEAL? Regarding the astronomical figures emerging within the scope of the investigation, journalist İsmail Saymaz also shared a striking analysis on his social media account. Emphasizing the oddity of the figures in the trade, Saymaz included the following statements in his post: "Hüseyin Başaran gave away 22 properties worth 60 million dollars for free to Haluk Levent, who deceived him. He counted 2 shops in Eyüp as 800 million TL. What is this, a mansion on the Bosphorus? His 9 apartments in Göktürk and Fikirtepe were supposedly 500 million. Bağdat Avenue is cheaper. Isn't this a very 'sweet' deal?"
HALUK LEVENT: IT'S A MATTER OF RECEIVABLES AND PAYABLES BETWEEN US Meanwhile, Haluk Levent answered the question about Başaran in his statement as follows:
"The matter with Hüseyin BAŞARAN, who is among the complainants in the file, is related to a real estate trade receivable/payable issue between us. There is no act of fraud involved. I consider the subject to be among those that have entered into a legal dispute. Additionally, the properties subject to the complaint are not of the amount claimed. A partial payment has also been made by me. I do not wish to make any further statements regarding the alleged accusation other than this."
