Additionally, Burhan revealed that some individuals living in Turkey have been found to be placing bets on Turkish leagues through foreign betting sites. Burhan said, "There are players, managers, and coaches who are betting on Turkish leagues through illegal betting sites in countries like Albania, Bulgaria, and Northern Cyprus. This situation has drawn the attention of Interpol and the matter has been shared with Turkish law enforcement."

ILLEGAL BETTING INVESTIGATION

The statement by the President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, which shook the refereeing community, was accepted as a report by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation will deepen and continue. They indicated that it is an ongoing investigation and that the latest allegations will also be addressed within this scope.
