CNN Türk reporter Emrah Çakmak and cameraman Halil Kahraman, broadcasting live from Israel, were blocked and detained by security forces in Tel Aviv.

Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, who made a statement on the matter, said, "We are facing yet another attack by Israel on the press to hide the truth. I have learned that CNN Türk reporter Emrah Çakmak and cameraman Halil Kahraman have been detained in Israel. We are making the necessary efforts for our journalist friends to be released as soon as possible and are closely monitoring the situation."
