Images have emerged regarding the incident in which former SGK Provincial Director S.E. and 2 inspectors were arrested for allegedly taking bribes in exchange for ignoring deficiencies identified during inspections of private hospitals in Antalya.
EUROS WERE FOUND IN THE BAG
The images shared by the Antalya Police Department show the moments when police teams detained former SGK Provincial Director S.E. and inspectors M.A.B. and E.Ö. The footage highlights the discovery of Euros in a bag belonging to the suspects.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The owner of a private hospital, H.U., who applied to the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, claimed that inspectors E.Ö. and M.A.B., who came to inspect his two private hospitals in the city, stated that they would impose fines of around 40-50 million for the deficiencies they identified. Following this, H.U. alleged that former SGK Provincial Director S.E. intervened and demanded a bribe of 120,000 Euros, leading him to file a complaint against the former provincial director and inspectors E.Ö. and M.A.B.
In an operation conducted, the suspects S.E., E.Ö., and M.A.B. were caught red-handed with 90,000 Euros and were arrested by the court they were brought to.
