In the Yüreğir district of Adana, a bridal shop run by a woman was set on fire with gasoline. While the identity of the attacker could not be determined, upon the woman's complaint, her estranged husband was taken into custody.
A bridal shop operated by a woman named G.G. (33) in Adana was set on fire with gasoline by an unidentified suspect. G.G.'s husband A.G. (38), whom she held responsible and filed a complaint against during their divorce process, was taken into custody by the gendarmerie.
BRIDAL SHOP ARSONED
The incident occurred at noon in the Doğankent neighborhood of Yüreğir district. The bridal shop operated by G.G. was set on fire with gasoline by an unidentified suspect while an employee was inside.
Upon reports from those nearby, fire and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The fire was extinguished in a short time with the intervention of the fire department, but the wedding dresses and evening gowns in the store were damaged.
HUSBAND IN DIVORCE PROCESS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
G.G. filed a complaint against her husband A.G., who is in the divorce process, holding him responsible for the incident. The gendarmerie took the suspect A.G., who had a restraining order against him, into custody. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
