Citizens in 6 settlements in Tokat, Gümüşhane, and Nevşehir, which have gained town status, will head to the polls on June 7th. Voting will begin at 08:00 and end at 17:00. A total of 27 political parties will participate in the by-elections to be held in the towns.

The decision of the Supreme Election Council regarding the holding of local elections in settlements that have gained town status has been published in the Official Gazette.

6 TOWNS AND 362 NEIGHBORHOODS WILL GO TO THE POLLS ON JUNE 7

In the towns of Yolüstü and Çevrecik in the Reşadiye district of Tokat, Bağtaşı in the Almus district, Kuşçu in the Yeşilyurt district, Tekke in Gümüşhane, and Mustafapaşa in the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir, as well as in 362 neighborhoods in various regions across the country, voting will take place on Sunday, June 7.

In the elections, mayors and municipal council members will be determined in 6 towns, while in neighborhoods where elections were decided due to death, resignation, or similar reasons, mukhtars and council of elders will be elected.

27 POLITICAL PARTIES PARTICIPATE

Voting will start at 08:00 and end at 17:00. A total of 27 political parties will participate in the by-elections in the towns. The political parties will be listed on the joint ballot paper as follows: “Adalet Birlik Party, DEVA Party, Vatan Party, AK Party, Doğru Yol Party, Büyük Birlik Party, Saadet Party, Yeni Türkiye Party, Türkiye Komünist Hareketi, CHP, Yerli ve Milli Party, Anavatan Party, Demokratik Sol Party, Gelecek Party, Teknoloji Kalkınma Party, İYİ Party, Anahtar Party, Yeniden Refah Party, Demokrat Party, Adalet Party, Anadolu Birliği Party, Türkiye Komünist Party, MHP, Zafer Party, Bağımsız Türkiye Party, Halkın Kurtuluş Party, Merkez Sağ Party.”
