Galatasaray Secretary General Eray Yazgan responded to a question about the dates of the postponed Göztepe matches in the Super League, stating that they do not want two away matches in a row. In his statement, Eray Yazgan said, "The TFF indicated that if we are eliminated, they would schedule it for the week after the Trabzonspor match. Normally, we wouldn't want to go to Izmir after the Trabzon away match. I believe Mr. Besim mentioned this in the cup draw."
Galatasaray Secretary General Eray Yazgan made statements on Tivibu Spor regarding the date of the postponed Göztepe matches in the 27th week of the Super League.
'WE DO NOT WANT AN AWAY GAME IN IZMIR AFTER TRABZON'
In response to a question about the date of the postponed Göztepe matches due to the Liverpool match, Eray Yazgan said, "The TFF stated that if we are eliminated, they would schedule it for the week after the Trabzonspor match. Normally, we do not want an away game in Izmir after the Trabzon away game. I believe Besim Bey mentioned this in the cup draw."
'THE CURRENT SITUATION...'
Continuing his words, Yazgan stated, "If we had advanced, since we would be playing in Europe on April 7-14, the TFF would have postponed the Turkey Cup matches scheduled for April 21-22-23 and would have made us and Samsun play our league matches on those dates. The current situation is that we will first go to the Trabzonspor away game and then we will go to the Göztepe away game. After that, if I am not mistaken, we will host Kocaelispor at home."
TWO AWAY GAMES IN A ROW
After the national break, Galatasaray will face Trabzonspor away, and if the Göztepe match is played on the dates mentioned by Eray Yazgan, they will have two away matches in a row.
