NAMES IN THE DELEGATIONS REVEALED

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced that Vice President JD Vance, President Donald Trump's Special Representative Steve Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will participate in the first round of US-Iran negotiations to be held in Islamabad.

TEHRAN INSISTENT ON 10-POINT PROPOSAL

Iran's 10-point proposal, which the US opposes, is as follows: "The US must guarantee non-aggression, passage through the Strait of Hormuz must be under the control of the Iranian army, acceptance of uranium enrichment, lifting all sanctions on Iran, lifting primary sanctions on Iran, ending UN Security Council resolutions, ending International Atomic Energy Agency resolutions, compensating for damages to Iran, withdrawal of US military forces from their bases in the region, and ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon."

The Fars News Agency published a statement from an unnamed Iranian source regarding the issue. The source stated that Iran has officially informed Pakistani officials that "there is no plan to participate in peace talks with the US side in Islamabad until a ceasefire is achieved in Lebanon."

The Wall Street Journal had claimed in a report that an Iranian delegation had arrived in Islamabad to start negotiations with Washington.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baqayi stated that the negotiations aimed at ending the war between the US and Israel and Iran depend on the US's compliance with ceasefire commitments on all fronts, especially in Lebanon.
