"ISRAEL HAS NO RED LINES"
Referring to the attack carried out by Israel on September 9 in Doha, Al-Thani described Israel's attack as "state terrorism," stating that Israel has "no red lines." Al-Thani said, "The Arab states participating in the summit condemned Israel's barbaric attack and supported the legal measures Qatar will take to protect its sovereignty. This attack is a violation of the UN Charter."
"A STRONG AND DECISIVE RESPONSE IS NECESSARY"
Expressing that a strong and decisive response is necessary to Israel's attack, Al-Thani stated, "It is time for the international community to abandon its double standards and hold Israel accountable for all the crimes it has committed. Israel must understand that its ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people, aimed at forcibly displacing them from their homeland, will not succeed, no matter how many false justifications are presented.
The Israeli government has deliberately expanded the circle of war faced by the peoples of the region, including its own people, by continuing to reject proposal after proposal, putting them at serious risk," he said. Al-Thani expressed that the Israeli attack would not hinder the mediation efforts for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip being conducted with the United States and Egypt.
