Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to CHP Istanbul, responded to the words of the party's General Chairman Özgür Özel, who said, "When I come, they run away from here in a hurry," by stating, "I am Mr. Özgür Özel's brother. I will not run away; it is known by all seven continents." On the other hand, Tekin said, "I will not have a meeting with Özel; I forbid them all from my rights. I hope today will be the last. If not, I will speak every day starting tomorrow."
After the appointment of a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, Gürsel Tekin, who has been a focal point of discussions, made statements.
Tekin said, "We want to do our job and leave quickly with our friends. I hope this will be the last time we are provoked with falsehoods and attacked."
"I AM THE BROTHER OF MR. ÖZGÜR ÖZEL"
Responding to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's remarks, "When I come, they run away in a hurry. When we leave, they come back from the shore," Gürsel Tekin stated, "I did not associate that with Mr. Özgür Özel. I am not him; I am the brother of Mr. Özgür Özel, I am a companion on the road. That sentence does not suit him at all. I will not run away anywhere; it is known by the seven continents. We came here leaving fear behind. We wanted to host perfectly."
"THE CONVENTION LAWSUIT DOES NOT CONCERN US AT ALL"
Speaking about the convention lawsuit that will be heard tomorrow, Tekin said, "The lawsuit in Ankara does not concern us at all. I hope a decision in favor of our party comes out in Ankara."
"I DEPRIVE MY RIGHTS TO ÖZEL"
Tekin continued his statements as follows: "After yesterday's remarks, I will not have a meeting with Özgür Özel. I deprive all of them of my rights. You made me be booed at the podium. You made the clean people of the party, me, and my friends be booed. Your minds are fascist. Because of your fascist minds, the AK Party is in power. I hope today will be the last. If not, I will speak every day starting tomorrow."
