In a post shared on the club's social media account on the platform of the US-based company X, it was announced that Burke is now a Turkish citizen.
HE ADOPTED THE NAME ''BEREN''
The post stated that Burke, who joined the Mersin team that reached the finals in the FIBA Women's European Cup at the beginning of the season, has adopted the name "Beren".
HE HAS A CHAMPIONSHIP IN WNBA
Burke, who was included in the A National Women's Basketball Team's roster for the FIBA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, played for Bellona Kayseri Basketball in the 2019-2020 season and wore the OGM Ormanspor jersey in 2024-2025.
