NAKHCHIVAN AIRPORT WAS THE TARGET OF THE DRONE ATTACK

Nakhchivan Airport, located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, was attacked by a kamikaze-type unmanned aerial vehicle. It was reported that during the same incident, a drone also fell near a school in the Shekerabad village.

AZERBAIJAN'S RETALIATION MESSAGE

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that necessary countermeasures are being prepared to protect the country's territorial integrity and the safety of civilians. The statement emphasized that the attack would not go unanswered.

IRAN: WE DID NOT TARGET AZERBAIJAN

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi stated that they did not target Azerbaijan, asserting that Iran does not have a policy of attacking neighboring countries. He expressed that Iran only targets hostile elements operating in the region.

IRAN GENERAL STAFF: ISRAEL IS BEHIND THE ATTACK

The Iranian General Staff also denied the allegations of a drone attack on Azerbaijan in a statement. The statement included, "Iran respects the sovereignty of all countries. The claims that we carried out a drone attack on Azerbaijan are not true. The Zionist regime, which seeks to disrupt relations among Muslim countries, has carried out such provocative actions."
