WHO IS SAGOPA KAJMER?

Sagopa Kajmer, born on August 7, 1978, in Samsun, started working as a DJ at a local radio station after completing high school education. Kajmer, who came to Istanbul for university education, graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Literature, Department of Persian Language and Literature. He founded the rap group called Kuvvetmira in 1998 and participated in the group under the name Silahsız Kuvvet. He appeared in the underground operation album released by Turkish rap artists in 1999.

The artist, who initially used the pseudonym Silahsız Kuvvet, later started using the name Sagopa Kajmer and released an album called Sagopa Kajmer. After this album, he released On Kurşun and Bir Pesimistin Gözyaşları in 2004. Kajmer, who made the music for the movie G.O.R.A, founded his own record company, Melankolia Müzik, on August 11, 2005.
