After Zeynep Yıldırım left the hospital where she was being treated without permission, no one heard from her again. It has emerged that she was killed in Fethi Dağlı's house in Esenyurt, Istanbul, and buried in a coal shed. While six suspects have been referred to court regarding the incident, suspect Dağlı claimed that his brother Yaşar committed the murder.

Zeynep Yıldırım, who had been missing in Istanbul since 2022, was found to have been murdered. It was determined that Yıldırım was killed in the house of Fethi D. in Esenyurt, and her body was buried in the coal shed next to the house, while 6 suspects related to the incident were referred to the courthouse. As part of the investigations carried out by the teams, the past phone signals of the missing young girl were examined, and it was determined that the last signal came from an address in Esenyurt. In the continuation of the investigations, it was learned that Yıldırım had been in contact with a person named Fethi D., and that Fethi D. had been arrested in 2024 for the crime of "intentional killing" and was in prison. The Public Order Branch teams, who re-interrogated Fethi D., determined that the missing Zeynep Yıldırım was killed by Fethi D.

6 SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

The teams determined that Zeynep Yıldırım died between October 4-10, 2022. As a result of the investigations, 6 suspects were identified who were considered to be connected to the incident and to have knowledge of it. Following this, an operation was carried out by the teams on Tuesday, September 1, against 6 suspects in Istanbul and Sinop.

SUSPECTS REFERRED TO COURTHOUSE

The 6 suspects taken into custody in the operations were brought to the Missing Persons Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate for questioning. Fethi D., who was detained in prison, was taken by police teams to his house address in Esenyurt and showed the place where Zeynep Yıldırım's body was located. In the examination conducted by the teams, the young girl's body was found. The 6 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse.

It was learned that the missing Zeynep Y. went to the hospital due to a problem with her finger, escaped from the hospital, and then went to Esenyurt. In the investigations conducted by the teams, it was determined that Zeynep Y. met with Fethi D. and was then taken to his house by the suspect. It was determined by the teams that Zeynep Y. was killed while she was in the house.

While it was determined that Fethi D. and Yaşar D. were at home during the murder, it was learned that after Zeynep Y. was killed, Fethi D. and Yaşar D. removed the young woman's lifeless body from the window of the house, taking advantage of the darkness, and buried her in the coal shed next to the house.
