In the clashes between government forces and Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen's Taiz, Marib, and Al-Jawf provinces, there were numerous casualties. While the Houthis' infiltration attempt in Taiz was thwarted, armed conflicts also occurred in Marib and Al-Jawf.

In the last two days, it has been reported that a large number of people have died in the clashes between the army forces loyal to the Yemeni government and the Iran-backed Houthis in the Yemeni provinces of Taiz, Marib, and Al-Jawf.

"HOUTHIS SUFFERED LOSSES"

According to a statement from the Yemeni Army Information Center, an infiltration attempt by the Houthis was thwarted in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz province in the southwest of the country. In the ensuing clashes, it was noted that there were losses among the Houthis, and the remaining ones fled. It was reported that two soldiers from the army forces were injured.

In the Makbenah district of Taiz, Houthi attacks were suppressed; it was stated that there were injuries in the clashes. Armed conflicts occurred between the army forces and the Houthis in various regions of Marib province, located in the central part of the country, with reports of deaths and injuries among the Houthis.

DRONES TARGETED

In the city of Hazm, located in the northern Al-Jawf province, it was reported that the Yemeni army faced an attack from the Houthis. Additionally, it was noted that a drone belonging to the Houthis, which was moving towards military positions in Al-Jawf, was targeted.

In a statement yesterday, the Information Center reported that a Houthi drone in Marib province was neutralized; this was the second drone targeted in the last two weeks. In a report by the Houthi-affiliated SABA news agency, it was announced that six Houthi members were killed in the clashes with the government-aligned army forces.
