In a shopping mall located in the Çankaya district of Ankara, a collapse occurred in the area where ventilation pipes are located in the attic. A 50-year-old worker fell onto the escalators and, despite being taken to the hospital, could not be saved.

While working in the ceiling space of a shopping mall in Ankara, a worker who fell onto the escalators due to a collapse lost his life.

According to the information obtained, Sezer P. (50), who was working in the ceiling space where the ventilation pipes of a shopping mall located in the Or-An neighborhood of Çankaya district were, fell onto the escalators on the lower floor when the ground he was standing on collapsed. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the shopping mall.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

The seriously injured worker, who received first aid from medical personnel, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Worker Sezer P. lost his life in the hospital. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
