In the broadcast on December 15, it was claimed that Emine was sexually abused by her stepfather Ercan Yılmaz and then murdered. Emine's cousin and uncle applied to the program to end the years of uncertainty regarding the little girl's disappearance.

Emine's cousin Aymila claimed that they wanted to communicate with Emine, but her mother Raziye Yıldız did not allow it. The mother mentioned in the case, Raziye Yıldız, confessed to the murder live on air. She stated that Emine was killed by her stepfather using a bead machine and that she witnessed everything on the night of the incident, saying, "If you had seen the suffering I went through... I still find myself staring at a point in front of my eyes, I see every part of my daughter over and over again. Ercan also tried to kill me. He tried to pull my tongue with pliers.
