According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor measuring 4.2 was recorded with its epicenter in the Sındırgı district. It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10.55 kilometers. The Kandilli Observatory announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 4.1.
