The Ministry of Trade announced that a new web service titled 'Foreign Plate Vehicle Transactions' has been created on the Ministry's website, and that information regarding the duration of stay of foreign plate vehicles and other details can be accessed through this new service.
Due to the congestion at border gates during the summer period, some citizens may enter Turkey without being able to learn the duration of stay of their vehicles. Especially in entries made with foreign passports (excluding those with residence permits), there were grievances due to exceeding the maximum allowed stay of 90 days.
In this context, to prevent such grievances and to carry out the processes more quickly and effectively, the Ministry of Trade has created a new web service titled "Foreign Plate Vehicle Transactions," which can be accessed through the e-Transactions page on its website.
With the new service launched on March 23, 2026, users can;
- Access the end of the duration of stay of their vehicles and other information,
- Carry out commitment transactions electronically,
- Enter their contact information into the system to verify their email addresses,
- Receive reminder emails regarding the end of the duration to avoid grievances due to exceeding the allowed stay.
- Additionally, through this service; quick and easy access to current announcements regarding foreign vehicles, the Vehicle Pre-Declaration Application, the Frequently Asked Questions page, the Vehicle Guide, and the payment page for traffic fines and road, bridge, and tunnel crossing fees will be provided.
- The service will also be available in English and can be used by foreign nationals.
