Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan evaluated the agreement reached between the USA and Iran during a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. While Araghchi thanked Turkey for its contributions to the negotiation process, Fidan stated that they were pleased with the deal and hoped for the positive continuation of the process. Following the historic agreement reached between the US and Iran, diplomatic traffic has accelerated. According to information obtained from Ministry of Foreign Affairs sources, the phone call between Hakan Fidan and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi evaluated the agreement reached between the US and Iran.
Araghchi expressed his thanks during the call for Turkey's contributions to the negotiation process between Washington and Tehran.
FIDAN'S MESSAGE OF "POSITIVE OUTCOME"
Minister Fidan stated that they are pleased with the agreement reached between the parties and expressed hope that the ongoing talks will also yield positive results.
Fidan also emphasized the need to be cautious against possible provocations aimed at sabotaging the agreement.

Stating that Turkey will continue its efforts decisively to strengthen peace, stability, and prosperity in the region, Fidan highlighted the importance of diplomatic solutions.
HISTORIC AGREEMENT ON THE WORLD AGENDA
The call took place after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that a peace agreement had been reached between the US and Iran and that the signing ceremony would be held on Friday in Switzerland. Subsequently, both Washington and Tehran administrations confirmed the agreement.
US President Donald Trump also announced that the agreement was finalized, stating that the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened and the US would lift its naval blockade.
EYES ON THE SIGNING CEREMONY
With the agreement coming into effect, issues such as reducing tension in the region, reopening maritime trade routes, and gradually lifting sanctions are expected to come to the forefront.
While it is stated that the parties are continuing their work on technical details before the planned signing ceremony in Switzerland, the process is being closely followed by the international community.
