The leader of the Future Party, Ahmet Davutoğlu, reacted to Bese Hozat's statements, warning sharply, "Never use threatening language against Turkey. The reason for the collapse of the resolution process in 2013 was your transformation of this threat into trench politics."
Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu spoke at the New Path Group Meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Davutoğlu stated that the CHP should not be outside the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, saying, "If you push them out of the process, the opponents of the process become more effective, and that is not right."
REMINDING BESE HOZAT OF 2013
Davutoğlu, who said, "Never use a threatening language against Turkey," added, "Just as we are discussing these, a voice from Kandil says that if this process does not continue, Turkey will be plunged into darkness. If we start using threatening language, this process will die. Because you used threatening language, the entire process came to a halt after the resolution process in 2013, and great pains were experienced. Never use a threatening language against Turkey," he stated.
"GATHER EVERYONE AROUND THE TABLE"
Calling on everyone managing the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Davutoğlu said, "Evaluate where we are. Gather everyone around a table. And review the current stage of the process. Look, I haven't heard a word from Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş for a week. These discussions are happening, and there is no sound from Mr. Kurtulmuş, who is the main responsible for the commission and this İmralı visit. It is not enough to stand out at the moment of success. The one managing the process during a crisis stands out and gives confidence to the public," he said.
"BOTH BAHÇELİ AND BARZANI..."
Regarding the images provided by the bodyguards at the symposium attended by Mesud Barzani in Cizre, Davutoğlu said, "This is a scientific meeting that will contribute to the process... You should have planned this from the beginning, coordinated seriously with the security units. Wouldn't it be possible for these images not to emerge? I believe that what happened here is not independent of the general weakness of the state. I do not think that Mr. Bahçeli and Mr. Barzani have malicious intentions," he stated.
PROPOSED A FIGURE FOR MINIMUM WAGE
Speaking about the minimum wage negotiations, Davutoğlu addressed TÜRK-İŞ and Hak-İş, saying, "Your duty is not to play theater with the government, but to protect the rights of the worker. Protect the rights of the worker. I am calling you to duty. The negotiations for the gross minimum wage should start at 33,827 and net at 28,766," he said.
