The war between the US-Israel and Iran has entered its 25th day. US President Trump pointed to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth regarding the attacks launched against Iran on February 28, saying, "You were the first to say, 'Let's do it.'" Meanwhile, the death toll in Iran, where the US and Israel continue their attacks, has risen to 1,443.

US President Donald Trump shared details about the decision moment of the Iran operation at the Safe Task Force summit held in Memphis, Tennessee.
HE PLACED THE RESPONSIBILITY ON HEGSETH
Trump directly placed the responsibility of the operation initiated under the pretext of a nuclear threat on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Emphasizing that a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable, Trump described that critical night when the operation began with the following words: "...We can continue like this and raise the death toll to 50,000, 55,000, or even 60,000. There is no end to this! Or we can stop and take a small step towards the Middle East and completely eliminate this major problem.

THE TOLL IN IRAN HAS REACHED TERRIFYING DIMENSIONS
On the other hand, the toll in Iran, which has been the target of US and Israeli attacks since February 28, has reached terrifying dimensions. According to data compiled by the human rights organization HRANA, at least 36 civilians were killed and 138 injured across Iran on March 23.
The group stated that the casualties were recorded from the first minutes of the day until the end of March 23 (Tehran time). The aggregated data collected by HRANA since the conflicts began on February 28 shows that at least 1,443 civilians have been killed, including 217 children.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations continued between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,443, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
