The war between Iran and Israel has entered its fifth day. Following mutual attacks between the two countries, sirens are sounding in Tehran and Tel Aviv, while the Israeli army announced that it has destroyed an Iranian warplane. As Iranian missiles fell on Tel Aviv due to a malfunction in Israel's Iron Dome defense system, notable statements came from U.S. President Trump during the ongoing missile strikes.
On June 13, Friday, the Iran-Israel war began and has now entered its 5th day. While the mutual attacks between the two countries continued throughout the night, Iran's massive missiles fell into the streets of Tel Aviv due to a malfunction in the Iron Dome. Here are the events as they unfold minute by minute.
SIRENS STARTED TO SOUND IN ISRAEL Following Israel's bombing of Iran's state television and civilian settlements in Tehran, very harsh statements came from Iran one after another. After Iran announced that it would carry out the largest attack in history, sirens began to sound in Israel. The Israel Defense Forces announced in a breaking news statement that missiles had been fired from Iran. The Israel Defense Forces shared on their social media account that all of Israel was on high alert.
EVACUATION ORDER According to a report by Reuters, Israel's Channel 12 and Channel 14 television stations instructed their personnel to prepare for immediate evacuation.
"ASSASSINATION OF HAMANEY WOULD END THE CONFLICT" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held an online press conference for the first time since the start of the clashes between Israel and Iran. Netanyahu made statements regarding Israel's operations against Iran's nuclear and missile programs. He reported that 10 Iranian scientists have been killed in Israeli attacks so far, stating, "A few more are left, and we will reach them too." The Israeli Prime Minister said that a "very violent attack" was carried out on Iran's Natanz Nuclear Facility, destroying the factories where centrifuges are produced, and added, "We will continue to systematically destroy nuclear targets." Netanyahu referred to the attacks on Iran's ballistic missile production facilities, stating, "We hit the production factories one by one and will continue to do so. We have destroyed hundreds of ballistic missiles."
"WE ARE ELIMINATING THEM ONE BY ONE" Referring to the attacks on Iran's military personnel, Netanyahu stated, "We have neutralized Iran's security personnel, including three senior military officials. We are eliminating them one by one." He mentioned the attacks on Iran's air force and air defense systems, saying, "Israel controls the skies over Tehran. We have opened an air route to Tehran." The Israeli Prime Minister stated that Israel has "simply eliminated" Iran's air defense network in the west and other regions, and noted that half of Iran's drone inventory and significant radar centers have also been destroyed. Netanyahu also mentioned that Iranian headquarters, state television, and places that will be "heard soon" have been targeted. Referring to evacuations in Israel, the Israeli Prime Minister said, "We are evacuating the people; people are leaving the cities. We are on the path to victory. Iran is aware of this." Regarding reports of Iran's attempts to initiate dialogue to end Israel's attacks, Netanyahu stated, "I am not surprised at all. They want to continue producing death weapons. One way or another, Iran's nuclear and ballistic weapons programs will be destroyed; they can do it themselves."
"ISRAEL CANNOT BE DECEIVED ABOUT IRAN'S INTENTIONS" Pointing to previous statements by Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Netanyahu said, "Even while negotiating with the U.S., the 'dictator' Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was making statements that 'Israel will be destroyed.' Israel cannot be deceived about Iran's intentions." Stating that the attacks will have "significant consequences," Netanyahu emphasized that Israel is persistent on three issues: Iran's nuclear program, ballistic missile production, and the elimination of the 'terror axis,' and that everything necessary will be done until these are achieved, in coordination with the U.S. "Based on these results, the Iranian regime could fall," Netanyahu stated, adding, "Iran has weakened, and Israel can change the face of the Middle East." The Israeli Prime Minister remarked, "There could be significant changes in Iran. No one predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union. Very few anticipated the fall of the Assad regime days in advance. I cannot predict the outcome of Israel's historic operation, but the fall of the Iranian regime could definitely be one of the outcomes."
In response to a question about how much damage has been done to Iran's nuclear program as a result of Israel's attacks, Netanyahu said, "You know, if you have a cancer that threatens your life, you cut it out. You can try different treatments, but it may show up again one day. But I believe we have set them back significantly. We will not stop. We are really conducting a root canal treatment." Netanyahu stated, "The U.S. is helping us," adding that he speaks with U.S. President Donald Trump almost every day. Netanyahu said, "Trump will make the decision that is good for America. We will accept any assistance."
In response to a question about whether Israel can neutralize Iran's nuclear program without attacking the Fordo facility and without U.S. assistance, Netanyahu replied, "We are determined to eliminate the Iranian nuclear program, which is an existential threat. We are achieving this now and will not back down." Addressing the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu stated, "We will not give up on our captives in Gaza. We will bring them all back. Fighting this Iranian-led axis also supports this goal." TRUMP LEFT G-7 EARLY As Israel's attacks targeting Iran escalate tensions in the Middle East, the White House has made a new statement regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's schedule. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on social media platform X that Trump left the G7 Summit in Canada early, stating, "President Trump had a great day at the G7 Summit and even signed an important trade agreement with the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Keir Starmer."
However, President Trump stated that he left the summit tonight after the dinner of the heads of state due to the developments in the Middle East.
"ISRAEL'S F-35 FIGHTER JET HAS BEEN SHOT DOWN" Iran announced that an Israeli fighter jet was shot down in Tabriz. In a report by Iranian media, it was stated: "Iran announced: The Iranian Armed Forces' air defense system shot down an American-made F-35 stealth fighter jet over the city of Tabriz. This was the fourth aircraft shot down by Iran's defense." Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced that since the start of Iran's attacks, 2,775 people have been evacuated from their homes in Israel, and demolition orders have been issued for 24 buildings. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. has given strong support to Israel, saying, "Iran cannot win this war; they must come to the table before it's too late."
SYRIA'S AIRSPACE CLOSED In a statement made by the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, it was announced that the country's airspace has been temporarily closed until 05:00 tomorrow morning.
TRUMP'S STATEMENT ON THE AGREEMENT According to a report by Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Iran wants to make an agreement. On the other hand, Trump expressed that they do not want to see nuclear weapons in Iran, stating, "Iran is being foolish by not signing the nuclear agreement." IRON DOME MALFUNCTIONED Images emerged showing that the Iron Dome system of Israel malfunctioned as Iranian missiles approached Israel, and interceptor missiles fell on Tel Aviv.
TRUMP: EVACUATE TEHRAN In a new statement regarding the tension between Israel and Iran, Trump noted on his Truth Social account: "Iran should have signed the agreement that I told them to sign. It's a pity, a great loss of life. Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. I have said this many times. Everyone in Tehran should be evacuated immediately."

24 BUILDINGS DAMAGED IN ISRAEL It was reported that 24 buildings in Israel were severely damaged in Iran's retaliatory airstrikes, and 2,775 citizens were evacuated. The Haaretz newspaper reported on the statements of Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich regarding the issue. Smotrich stated that property tax teams received approximately 14,000 notifications for direct damages caused by the Iranian attacks. Finance Minister Smotrich noted that in Iran's retaliatory attacks against Israel, 24 buildings were seriously damaged and will be demolished, and 2,775 citizens were evacuated.
