Denizlispor, which has been relegated to the Regional Amateur League, has announced a debt of 625 million TL. President Süleyman Urkay stated that the club can get back on its feet and noted that with the changes made to the bylaws, each administration will now be responsible for its own debt.

Denizlispor President Süleyman Urkay held a meeting at the Denizli Journalists Association regarding the latest developments in the club. In the press conference where President Urkay talked about his projects and visions, he announced that the club's total debt is 625 million TL. Urkay, who stated that he had warned several times about the club's poor management years ago, said, "The potential of this city is enough for the club to return to its former days."
''I HAVE NO CONCERNS''
Süleyman Urkay stated, "One of the most important values that make Denizli, Denizli is Denizlispor. When Denizlispor was relegated to amateur, I, along with a group of friends, ran for management with the feeling of taking care of Denizlispor again. I truly believe in the potential of this city. The potential of Denizli is enough to cover Denizlispor's debts and to bring Denizlispor back to its former days. The issue is to advance the process within a plan. I have complete faith and I have no concerns at all."
REVOLUTION OF STATUTE CHANGE
Last week, the green-blacks held a statute congress, making all future administrations responsible for the debts during their terms. President Urkay emphasized that radical decisions were made with the statute change, stating, "From now on, an estimated budget will be determined for one year of the club. The management that will hold the presidency will be required to deposit this budget into the club's account. Thus, the search for a budget and uncertainty after the presidency in possible management changes will also be eliminated." Urkay also announced that they would not be able to participate in the academy leagues due to insufficient squad in the new season.
