The brother and father of a girl who shared on social media the moments when he assaulted his sister and poured boiling water on her in Manisa were arrested and sent to prison. It was learned that the brother M.A.İ.A. has 18 criminal records, while the father G.A. has 26.
In Manisa, M.A.İ.A. (19) poured boiling water on his 16-year-old sister S.A. after telling her, "Kneel before me, apologize."
REACTION TO THE HORRIFYING IMAGES
The horrifying images quickly reached thousands of users and garnered a significant reaction on social media. It was learned that M.A.İ.A. (19), who was captured by the Manisa Provincial Police Department teams, harmed himself with a knife during his detention. The suspect was transferred to the police station for questioning after being checked at Manisa City Hospital.
FATHER AND CRUEL BROTHER ARRESTED
In the morning hours, the brother M.A.İ.A., who was brought before the court and was found to have 18 criminal records, and his father G.A., who was found to have 26 criminal records, were arrested and sent to prison.

After the disturbing images caused an outcry, the Manisa Governorate stated in a press release, "On October 3, 2025, following the research regarding the images of a 19-year-old individual applying violence to his 16-year-old sister and pouring boiling water on her, it was determined that the suspect who committed the act is M.A.İ.A. (19), who has been apprehended, and a judicial investigation has been initiated. Our Family and Social Services unit has also initiated the necessary precautionary measures for the child who was subjected to violence."
