In Bolu, Naim Acar (67), who was assaulted by university student K.K. (20) in the park, lost his battle for life 9 days later at the hospital where he was being treated.
FOLLOWED AND PUNCHED
The incident occurred on March 6 during the afternoon hours at Democracy Park in the İhsaniye neighborhood. K.K., who is reported to be a university student, allegedly followed Naim Acar after chatting with him for a while in the park and punched him in the head. Acar, who collapsed from the blow, was taken to İzzet Baysal State Hospital Köroğlu Unit by the ambulance that was called. After the incident, K.K. was caught by the police and taken into custody.
SUSTAINED A BRAIN HEMORRHAGE
Naim Acar, who was being treated in the intensive care unit for a brain hemorrhage, passed away last night. K.K., who was released after the incident, was taken into custody again by the Public Order Branch teams following Acar's death yesterday. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
