During the voting on the "Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion," which was accepted in the TBMM General Assembly with 467 yes votes, 87 no votes, and 7 abstentions, a striking claim came to the agenda.
According to the claim, İYİ Party Hatay Deputy Adnan Şefik Çirkin came to the Turkish Grand National Assembly by ambulance from the hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia and participated in the voting. Çirkin, along with other deputies of his party, voted "no" to the regulation.
ACCEPTED WITH 467 VOTES
The 12-article Framework Law prepared within the scope of the "Terror-Free Turkey" process passed through the Parliament in the voting held in the TBMM General Assembly with the acceptance votes of 467 deputies. In the voting, 87 no votes and 7 abstentions were cast, while 31 deputies did not participate in the voting.
ALL 29 DEPUTIES OF İYİ PARTY SAID "NO"
According to the voting results, all 29 deputies in the İYİ Party group cast "no" votes. It is seen in the voting lists that Çirkin was also among these names.
It was claimed that Çirkin came to the Parliament despite his health condition to support his party's stance in the voting.
